8 Principles - theses of karate-do:

  1. The spirit is a single whole with the sky and the earth.
  2. Breath, circulation of the blood and metabolism follow the principle of the sun and the moon going in turns.
  3. The way (Do) implies hardness and softness.
  4. All actions must be taken in accordance with the time and rhythm of changes.
  5. Mastery is reached after reaching the way (Do).
  6. Keeping of right distance (Ma) assumes moving forward and retreat, separation and meeting.
  7. Eyes miss no little change in the environment
  8. Ears hear and percept every sound around.

Association activity area and directions: 

• Association keeps permanent coaching in Japanese traditional karate-do;
• holds methodical seminars (Camp and Gasshuku), certifications (Kokan) in 9 - 1 kyu and 1- 8 Dan, granting appropriate certificates and international budo-passports;
• holds age-divisions championships: children, juniors, adults in Russia (on rules in the section of «Kumite» HOI Karate (Hachi-o-kai Kan Ryu One Ippon) - with a semi and full contact);
• mans sport teams for participation in international championships and seminars outside Russia;
• organizes show-festivals, sport holidays, demonstrative performances, advertises sponsors' production through its activities and press;
• Association is willing to collaborate with karate sections, clubs and federations with the purpose of creating new branches and representations in Russia and abroad;
• issues and distributes prints about marital art of the world.
