On April 14, in Shostka city, an open Championship of the Sumy region version IFHKEA (International Federation Hachi-o-kai Karate-do Euro Asia).

120 sportsmen from 6 clubs of Kiev, Sumy and Chernigov regions participated.

The competitions were held in the following sections:

Kata (Shotokan), Kata (Kobudo), Kumite Shobu Ippon (with full contact).

In the team event the first place was won by the club from Shostka city (chief representative of Hachi-o-Kai Kan Ryu Karate-do in Ukraine).
