Jubilee: Karate has been developing in our country for 40 years!
40 years ago, 1978 turned out to be eventful. In March, the All-Union Karate Commission was established at the USSR State Sports Committee, headed by Alexey Shturmin. In November, an order was issued by the USSR Sports Committee “On the Development of Karate Wrestling in the USSR”. In December, the USSR Karate Federation was established, and it soon held the first All-Union certification of karate trainers. IFHKEA congratulates all the instructors, athletes with the anniversary! |
